Where do we live ?
Social responsibilities—who decides?

Unit Questions:
1. What is an environment ?
2. How do we affect our natural environment ?
3. Why should we recycle ?
4. Why do we need to change how we get rid of our trash?
5. Is recycling worth the cost and effort?

Content Questions:
1. What resources do we have or need ?
2. Why do we rely on water ?
3. What are our responsibilities to the environment ?
4. How are different materials (plastic, glass, paper, and so forth) recycled?
5. How can we figure out how much it costs to get rid of our trash?
6. Where has all the trash gone in the past up until now?
7. How can we learn how people feel about recycling?
